A Helping Hand at Christmas

Please support our Irish Christmas Appeal

Every day, The London Irish Centre delivers free, holistic, high-quality services to people in need.

Every year, thousands visit us for advice and information, events and activities, friendship and community, food, crisis grants, and even free legal support.

These important services change lives and are how we offer a helping hand.

We now ask you to consider lending a helping hand by supporting our Christmas Appeal.

The wider statistics show the challenges being faced, which impact most sharply on those already vulnerable:

  • 91% of adults reporting an increase in their living costs compared to a year ago
  • 60% increase in the price of staple foods
  • 27% of Londoners live in poverty

As we work on issues of poverty, mental and physical health, housing and homelessness, social isolation, education and unemployment, now, more than ever, we need support from people like you.

As rising costs pressure our own charity finances, we are doing everything we can to help:

  • Free advice and support from experts
  • Safe, warm spaces
  • Friendly and helpful staff
  • Cultural events and activities
  • Free wellness & social activities
  • Subsidised nutritious lunches
  • Crisis grants
  • Free legal advocacy
  • Volunteering and befriending

“On behalf of myself and those who I know have been in dire straits, and who have been on the receiving end of your help, we are still here in many cases because of you all.”

“We as a family are truly grateful and appreciate all the hard work you guys do to help people in need.”

“When someone told me about the London Irish Centre, I prayed, dialled the number and an angel answered.”

Please donate what you can. Go raibh míle maith agat.
