Angela Murphy

Angela is a health and social care professional with over 25 years’ experience across the industry in both commercial and not for profit organisations. A former Director of Jewish Care and Brent Irish Advisory Service, Angela brings a wealth of experience across community services. Portfolios in advice and advocacy, social work and day care services, homecare, alongside capital build projects – including care campuses across N/W London and Hertfordshire.

Currently working in Government within the UK Health Security agency and most recently within the Department of Health and social care supporting the critical response to the Covid19 pandemic within the departments, social care taskforce. Angela has long supported the Irish Community as a volunteer at the Haringey Irish Centre and most recently as a trustee of Irish in Britain (IIB).

Angela is passionate about developing and securing support for services for the most vulnerable across our communities and has an absolute commitment to ensuring that culturally sensitive services are available for the diaspora of our diverse city and beyond.
