Health & Wellbeing Advice Line in London

Our Health and Wellbeing Advice Line provides over the phone advice. This service is led by our resident nurse, Ciara, who is available to provide her expertise to those who are struggling with their mental or physical health.

We can help you with one to one support on the following issues:

  • Empowering & educating individuals to better understand their health, make informed decisions and achieve better outcomes with regards to their wellbeing.
  • Support in accessing help from a GP, signposting to statutory services and other Health/Medical Advocacy – Assistance understanding medical reports, discharge letters, liaising with health professionals all to ensure your health is being managed correctly.
  • Helping individuals understand newly diagnosed or existing health conditions
  • Advice on improving your mood & staying well including staying active and eating well.
  • Creating an action plan based on individual health needs for those living with mental health & physical health conditions, identifying what help is available to you.
  • Identifying social needs with the aim of combating loneliness and isolation.

Set, Waltz & Ceilidh dancing every Tuesday in Kennedy Hall 2-3pm

Gentle Yoga: Every Friday in Kennedy Hall 2-3pm

Mindfulness: Every Wednesday morning in Kennedy Hall 10:30am-12:00

Winter Wellness talks 23rd and 30th November 2022

Hosted by Health Navigator Ciara – An open presentation and discussion on staying well during the winter, looking after our physical and mental health and, and a forum for service users to discuss their anxieties and needs.

Time: 1.45pm – 3pm

Hosted by Highbury-based community centre Elizabeth House, they will be sharing their Winter Wellness Initiative which serves Camden & Islington, including providing connections and support offerings to help you get through the winter months.


14 weeks of creative workshops for anyone living with memory loss. Engage in creative activities, meet others, share stories & cultural experiences and have fun, all supported by trained Reminiscence Artist Zoe Gilmour. Carers/family support welcomed and refreshments provided.

Running weekly every Wednesday from 18th January 2022 – 12th April 2023, 1-4pm at the London Irish Centre
