For almost 70 years, Irish speakers have gathered at the London Irish Centre. Now, our new Scoil na Gaeilge brings everything together, courses, comhrá groups, youth clubs, and elder sessions – creating a lively, welcoming space for anyone who wants to learn or share the language of Ireland.  

What we offer 

• Courses at every level, from complete beginners to confident speakers
• In-person and online options, learn in Camden or from anywhere
• Comhrá groups, relaxed conversation practice in a friendly setting
• Youth and elder sessions, making Irish a language for all generations
• TEG exam centre; the only place in Britain where you can sit accredited Teastas Eorpach na Gaeilge exams

Whether you’re starting out, reconnecting with family roots, polishing school Irish, or learning just for the craic, Scoil na Gaeilge is for you.

• Just want to use your Irish? Come to a comhrá, gig or event

How to book
Our courses run in two 12-week modules across the year. Places fill quickly, so don’t hang about.  Check our What’s On page and book your place here 

Term Dates: 

• Module 1: 2 October – 18 December (12 sessions) 

• Module 2: 8 January – 2 April (12 sessions) 

Breaks: 

• Half Term: 30 October & 19 February 

• Christmas: 25 December & 1 January
