Tom Connaughton

Tom’s background is in music and technology, a big focus throughout his career has been bridging the gap between artists, technology, and audiences through brand building, marketing and creative content. He has worked for Sony Music, Myspace and Vevo – with his most recent role being Managing Director for Spotify in the UK and Ireland, a role he held for 6+ years. He is currently a partner in boutique music distributor Canvas Music.
He was born and raised in a London-Irish household, spent time in the LIC growing up and understands what the LIC means in Camden. Tom believes it is important to tell both the story of what Irish people have contributed to London and the UK; and also tell the story of modern, diverse Ireland and London. He still lives locally with his young family and is excited to contribute to the next stage of the London Irish Centre’s development.
