Katie Doyle

Survivor Support Liaison

Katie joined the London Irish Centre in December 2021. She was born and raised in Dublin and after spending 10 years in Denmark, she decided to settle her home in London, 22 years ago.

She has a long history of supporting vulnerable and traumatised individuals within a professional and voluntary capacity. Her own lived experiences affords her great insight, empathy and strength, that empowers her to share her knowledge and skills with those who may benefit.

Katie has a personal and professional interest in ‘modern psychology’ and its compelling research on how trauma stays stored within our bodies, and how evidence based ‘holistic’ therapy supports profound healing and recovery.

She has completed studies in Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT), Reiki, Pranic Healing and has a BSc (Honours) in Psychology from Birkbeck University in London.

Katie is also a registered Samaritan.

She enjoys, equally, connecting with all people from all walks of life and the complete solitude of being alone in nature. Her greatest source of strength comes from her two daughters whom both inspire and amaze her and this she feels, is what she’s most grateful for in life.
