The London Irish Walk is all about supporting the London Irish Centre’s work with great Irish artists. With just over 9 days to go why dont you join The London Irish Walk and our community by walking 50,000 miles to raise £50,000.
Spring has well and truly sprung and we are very proud of all our walkers taking part in the London Irish Walk who are aiming to walk/run at least 50 miles between their chosen start date and 17th March. 50 miles is the minimum, and so many of them have been so ambitious! Together, we set a target of walking/running 50,000 miles (100 million steps!) and raising £50,000.
Our community of fellow walkers have been walking in their London Irish Walk high-visibility vests and have been kept motivated along the way.
100% of the funds raised in this year’s walk will be used to employ and commission Irish artists to create, perform, and inspire through 2021. These funds will enable the London Irish Centre to continue to bring the very best in Irish art and culture to you. Our brilliant artistic community has been decimated by Covid-19, and this is our chance to remind them how much we value their work.
We may not have a St. Patrick’s Parade this year, but we do have the London Irish Walk, and together, we will have fun, improve wellbeing, and raise funds for a great cause.
