Brendan Millar
Cultural Events Manager
Brendan Millar started his event management career with the DCU & NUI Maynooth events team working on large scale student concerts featuring acts like The Magic Numbers, Professor Green & Mr Hudson.
He then went on to work for ‘First Music Contact’, who provide free information & advice for musicians, operate the Irish music export office ‘Music From Ireland’ & annually organise Ireland’s only music industry showcase festival ‘Ireland Music Week’.
After emigrating to the UK Brendan began working with the London Irish Centre and has had the privilege of bringing his past experience to the LIC’s community focused culture & education programme, working on events of great importance to the Irish community in London such as The London St Patricks Festival & fundraisers curated by their Patron Dermot O’Leary.
In his spare time Brendan is also a musician and has a love for all creative and original culture.
