Having just come off stage supporting The Coronas at
Shepherds Bush Empire in London, Sebastian is now set to take the
stage at The Great Escape Festival as one of their Top Picks this
year. Marked by a one-of-a-kind, powerhouse voice and an almost overwhelming
stage presence Sebastian's music is reminiscent of artists like Hozier, Ben
Howard and Jeff Buckley.
His songwriting is sincere, dark, gritty
and intensely dynamic embracing you with a delicate intimacy in one moment and
completely knocking you off your feet in the next. Having initially found his
feet busking Sebastian earned his stripes in Irelands' famed songwriting
circles and in the depth of London's Soul and Blues scene – often playing two
or three gigs a night.
Videos of him performing on the streets of London, and
Dublin have racked in millions of views online and his music has seen
radio play in the UK and abroad in the Netherlands, and Germany.
Currently, Sebastian is working on his debut EP
collaborating with some of Europe's hottest up-and-coming writers and producers
such as Nick Atkinson, Saint Raymond, Danny O'Reilly, Simon Klose, Dr. Adam
Lee, RAFFER and Blaine Harrison (Mystery Jets).
