‘BELONGING’ – An Evening with LIBS and SEANCHOÍCHE

At the London Irish Business Society, we are always looking for opportunities to celebrate and hear from our wonderful members. That is why we are very excited to partner with SEANCHOÍCHE to bring a special storytelling event to the LIBS community.

SEANCHOÍCHE (pronounced Shanna-Key-Huh) is a storytelling night that started in Dublin in 2021 and which has since expanded to a number of other Irish and international cities, creating a strong and vibrant community along the way. This success is in part based on the warm, supportive atmosphere at their events, and their focus on creating human connections, two goals shared by LIBS.

The theme for the night is 'BELONGING'. All stories told will revolve around this theme. Stories can be personal anecdotes based on your own experience, or the experience of someone in your life, they can be fictional pieces, they can be monologues, poetry or anything that you consider a story.

The idea is that you come to the event if you want to hear a good story. You can come just to listen and be a spectator, or if you feel like telling a story, you can volunteer to do so. Please email [email protected] if you are interested in telling a story.

We are excited to announce that this event will be hosted by our friends at the London Irish Centre. We can't think of a better place to enjoy this special evening than in the 'Irish Heart of London'.
